ANNABELLE, the spin off and prequel of James Wan’s horror blockbuster THE CONJURING is a big hit on YouTube with its trailer having been viewed more than five million times and that is excluding the four million views the trailer has got on distribution company Warner bros ‘s official channel. The film is to have a wide release on 3rd October 2014.
A pregnant woman is decorating her upcoming child’s room with stuffed toys, rattles and dolls. Her husband brings a sweet, vintage doll named Annabelle, dressed in a white marriage gown to please his wife. After a few days of this some cult followers attack the couple. Left injured and traumatized the couple realizes later that the worse thing was not the attack. The cultists have conjured an evil spirit in Annabelle, which becomes the real threat for them including their unborn child.
James Wan is producing this time with John R. Leonetti, cinematographer of films like The Mask, The Conjuring, and Insidious joining in as the director. Gary Dauberman (Swamp Devil, Blood monkey) has written the script.
Co-incidentally the name of main lead actress is also Annabelle Wallis (Body of lies, X-Men first class). Ward Horton and Alfre Woodard are also playing vital characters.
