Situated in a thick acacia forest without any windows and doors, this is a 700 year old palace. With no connection with the outside world, there lives a princess alone, with her ferocious hounds. The princess is always dressed in black attire and has not combed her hair in a decade. She is waiting with the ashes of her mother to die. The entry at this palace has a signboard indicating:
ENTRY RESTRICTED
CAUTIOUS OF HOUND DOGS
PROCLAMATION
INTRUDERS SHALL BE GUNNED DOWN
Historically it is a 14th Century palace situated at Chankyapuri, Delhi ridge. But the last three decades makes it one of the most mysterious places in India. The great granddaughter of Nawab of Oudh Vilayat Mahel got this eerie palace in 1985 after a long legal battle but ironically in 1993 she chose to leave the palace and the world by consuming poison. Terrified by the robberies and invasion by local tribes the royal family was given the rights by the government to shoot anyone entering into the area. After that countless have been reported missing trying to get in that area .Mystery shrouds this place now and even time seems to have forgotten this cursed palace as well.
