The Title Of The Indian Remake Of Oculus Is Changed To “ Dobaara”.

The shooting of the Hindi remake of critically and commercially successfull Hollywood Horror “Oculus” is wrapped up now. The Indian version, which was earlier, titled as Zahhak is now going to be released in May’17 with the title “Dobaara”.

The Hollywood film directed by Mike Flanagan is considered a milestone and tells the story of an evil mirror, which haunts a family after they shifted to a new house. Prawal Raman directs the Indian remake, he has also written additional script for the Hindi version, though the IMDB page of the film also has the name of Leena Tandon (associate director of Creature and Shaapit) as the director with Prawal Raman. The film went into production two years back and was shot in London. The shooting of this schedule was wrapped up way before but the release of the film was continuously delayed further.

The earlier title of the film was Zahhak , which is the name of an Iranian demon. However now the film will be released as Dobaara. It has also been reported that a three-film deal was signed between B4U movies, relativity media and Balaji films. This Indian version is the first production of this deal, two more films “The best of me” and “3 days to kill’ are yet to start the production.
