Director Navdeep Singh is known for one of the most acclaimed suspense thriller Manorama Six feet under. He also directed a zombie film Rock The Shaadi, which has not not released even after completion. But now he can have a smile on his face as his upcoming road thriller NH10 is getting lots of appreciation from viewers and its trailer is already a hit on You Tube garnering 3.5 million views in two weeks.
The film tells the story of a girl who is facing the trauma of being attacked by a group of goons while coming out late from a pub. Her boyfriend tries to freshen up her life by offering a desert road trip. Their holiday doesn’t go very well when they find a group of men kidnapping a girl and decide to save her only to get trapped in extreme dangerous situations. Sudip Sharma, who has written the Indian adaptation of The Italian Job, has written the screenplay.
The film’s lead actress Indian star Anushka Sharma is also producing the film.The film is made under the banner of Phantom films with biggies like Anurag Kashyap, Vikramditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl also serving as producers. Eros international is releasing the film.
The trailer of film looks stunning with nail biting scenes and striking locations of Rajasthan. Although the film was slated to release on 6th March’2015, it falls in trouble with the Indian censor board becsuse of its use of abusive language. However it is still expected to release on 13th of March’2015. Neil Bhoopalam, who is known for his roles in No One Killed Jessica and Shaitan, is playing the male lead against Anushka.
